As we get deeper into the cooler months, there are new businesses opening up all over the valley to feed and libate the hoards of snowbirds that roost here during the spring. God bless em. One of the desert’s coolest music weekends is happening now in downtown Palm Springs, bringing a star-studded jazz lineup to life across two classic venues, the Annenberg Theatre and the Plaza Theatre. 🇺🇸🎷 Over four days you can catch everything from pianist/storyteller Ben Sidran and jazz legend Stanley Clarke to Brazilian great Eliane Elias, New Orleans icons Preservation Hall Jazz Band, powerhouse vocalist Lisa Fischer, and forward-thinking bassist/artist esperanza spalding. 🎶 There’s also a swanky Sunset Jazz Party in a midcentury architectural gem kicking things off.
